I experience writing as pure joy. For me, writing is craft as well as an incredible creative and spiritual journey.
Poetry: My writing often touches on the exploration of self, nature, and a heart-centered experience of a spiritual being in a human body. I am sometimes directly influenced by my work as a yoga, meditation, and Sanskrit mantra meditation teacher.
Short Fiction: You will find a range of styles and topics, reflecting my love for creating voice. I particularly enjoy writing in first person, making my protagonists full participants in their own stories.
Creative NonFiction: The quest for truth within experience and the impermanent nature of being human always interests me. If there is a story in my experience that might offer insight into living, I offer it through creative nonfiction.
